In a time when we embark on having the First Black President inaugurated, it’s news like this that brings us back to reality. They say “Racism” is no longer an issue in today’s society… I would ask those that think that “where do you live?”
I’m sure that Barack Obama has endured enough racism in his life for the number of blacks that are in House Of Representatives alone. He’s shown me that he can take it. He’s shown me that he can handle it. What I don’t understand about this racist at is that the attacker is only 1 of millions of people that have the audacity to express his racism. I have heard people say things like “how could you be a nigger-lover?” to someone donning an “I Voted For Obama” pin – the sad thing is the person wearing the button was white and the person asking the question was also white. It just goes to show you that racism is learned (taught) ignorance and not just an explainable phenomenon.
